Overview

We are seeking a board-certified Gastroenterologist to provide comprehensive care for patients with digestive system disorders. This role includes outpatient consultations, diagnostic procedures, and surgical interventions such as endoscopies and colonoscopies. Qualifications

  • MD or DO from an accredited institution

  • Board certification in Gastroenterology

  • Valid Georgia medical license and DEA registration

  • Experience in outpatient and surgical settings preferred

  • Commitment to serving underserved communities

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and treat gastrointestinal conditions across diverse populations

  • Perform procedures including endoscopy, colonoscopy, and biopsies

  • Provide pre- and post-operative care in coordination with surgical center staff

  • Collaborate with primary care and behavioral health teams for integrated care

  • Educate patients on preventive care and chronic disease management

  • Document all encounters and procedures in the EMR system

  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and peer review
