We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our healthcare team at MedCura Health. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to patient care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment. This position involves travel between clinic locations.

Shift Day

Salary $17.00 - $24.00 / hour

Qualifications

  • Completion of an accredited Dental Assistant program.
  • Current certification as a Dental Assistant (CDA) or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a dental or clinical setting is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in using dental office software and electronic health records (EHR) systems.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a busy environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the dentist and dental hygienist during dental procedures, including handing instruments and materials.

  • Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment.

  • Take and develop dental X-rays as directed by the dentist.

  • Provide patients with instructions for oral care following dental procedures.

  • Record patient medical histories and vital signs.

  • Manage patient appointments and ensure smooth patient flow.

  • Maintain accurate patient records and update them in the electronic health records (EHR) system.

  • Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols.
